Dr. Nadimi

Dr. Nadimi is board-certified both as a dermatologist and as a micrographic dermatologic surgeon. He completed an American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) fellowship in Mohs surgery and dermatologic oncology at the nationally-recognized Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, in a direct lineage of trainees linked to the inventor of Mohs surgery, Dr. Frederic Mohs. He was nominated by his medical school classmates into the prestigious Gold Humanism Honor Society for exemplifying exceptional compassion, empathy, and humanism in patient care.
He also trained comprehensively in cosmetic dermatology — lasers, energy-based devices, neuromodulators (e.g. Botox), biostimulators (Sculptra/Radiesse), fillers, and sclerotherapy (vein treatment). Dr. Nadimi believes in the power of natural treatments including growth factor concentrate, platelet rich fibrin, and platelet rich plasma.
He performs 1,500–2,000 Mohs surgeries annually — inclusive of rare, difficult-to-treat tumors — including complex reconstructions after removal of the tumor.
Dr. Nadimi is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences. He contributes to the medical literature, publishing original works in peer-reviewed journals, giving presentations at national conferences, and authoring a textbook chapter on surgical reconstruction after Mohs surgery.
In addition, Dr. Nadimi has a special interest in cosmetic removal of moles and other benign lesions, ear lobe repair, and scar and keloid revision.
Dr. Nadimi enjoys exercising, sauna, spending time with his family and friends, catching sunsets in west LA, and finding his next favorite coffee shop.

Dual training in surgical and cosmetic dermatology means every cosmetic decision is informed by anatomy, and every reconstruction by an aesthetic eye. Patients are met one at a time, on their own terms, with conservative recommendations and no upselling.
I enjoy having open, honest, face-to-face discussions with my patients to review their goals. I believe in comprehensive medical and cosmetic evaluation and the use of multiple modalities where indicated to achieve the desired outcome.
